As I sit here thinking of all the things I need to do today, the thought crossed my mind, I’ll do that tomorrow. You’ve said it and the old adage, Tomorrow Never Comes! Most of the time we put it off and put if off until we feel hopeless. We feel like the issues are beyond change and repair. If you have breathe in your lungs, it is never too late. No matter what your “issue” is . . . . A family member, your health, your home, fill in the blank _____. It’s not too late. You can do!! You can do it now. Start a list of what you want. That’s right! A list of what you want. Here is an example.
1. I want to be Healthy!
2. I want to Run a 5K!
3. I want to get back in Church!
4. I want to quit smoking!
5. I want to be a drop a pant size!
6. I want to pay all my credit cards off!
7. I want to be debit free!
8. I want to clean my house!
9. I want a flower garden!
10. I want . . . . . . .
Then set a goal of when you want this done. Some, you can get done today and others may take a week, a month, a year or years. Keep this list and check things off as you make them happen. Even add new goals to this list. Don’t want to make a New Year’s Resolution that you will forget about by the end of January 1st. Start now! You can create a happier, healthier more joyful life now.
