There are times in my life that it was messy! Very messy! I had to go through those times so I could learn and grow from it. After going through them I could share my experiences to help others not make the same mistakes or help them clean it up if they did make the same mistakes. There were times, I didn't think I was going to make it, the pain was too great. The lesson was to much to handle, it broke me, but I was able to get back up, clean up the mess and move on. Each time, I've grown stronger and stronger. I've also become wiser because of the messiness of life.
There are times when life will knock you to your knees, then kick you while you are down. It may kick you many times before you gather yourself to start healing from the blows. I'm here to tell you, you will heal. You may not feel like you are going to make it but you will. The pain may leave lasting scares but you will heal. You will be wiser which makes you stronger. I've went through some ugly messes, some I could have prevented by my choices and actions. Each mess was a very valuable lesson for me, but not just for me, for you. If only to let you know you will be ok. You will learn and grow, you may have to go through similar experiences but you are getting strong every step of the journey.
As you go through each messy situation, don't let it make you hard. Being strong and being hard are very different. If you close your heart and become hard and complacent, you don't grow. You don't love, you are just going through the motions of life but you are no longer living. You are no longer chasing your purpose in life. Stay open. Stay teachable to learn the lessons life has to teach you. Your lessons may different or the same as mine but always remember we are all in this together to love and support each other.
Reflections: You are strong enough to weather any storm! If you weren't able to get through it, you wouldn't be in it. The Word tells us that God will not put more on you than you can bear. Honestly, I've questions that many times. I didn't believe I was strong enough. I didn't believe I would make it out alive but I did. I was changed for the better but I did get past it. I'm finding grace, kindness and gentleness for people, while learning more about myself and my strengths.
