Each new day we get to start fresh with hopes of a beautiful day, a productive day, a joyful day but one thing can turn everything upside down. You hit snooze one too many times. You forgot to put the wash in the dryer the night before. The kids are playing the "I'm not touching you" game. Now you are running late! Your whole day is thrown off, your stress-level has gone up followed by your hopes of a beautiful day. All you wanted was to have a good day, just one good day.
This day doesn't have to be a loss, it's up to you. Close your eyes and take a deep breathe, inhale 1-2-3 and exhale 1-2-3. Now smile, take the control back. It was only a few moments that got your stressed, it doesn't have to be the whole day. Change your thinking! Laugh in the face of your stress and make a choice to be happy. More obstacles may come your way but it is how you react to them. You may have to walk way to breath and re-focus but you have the control.
Think about what you want. Not what you don't want or what someone else wants but what do you want. I remember years ago, saying "I don't want drama." The more I said that and focused on the drama that surrounded my life, the more drama came in my life. When I changed that to, "I want peace." I started noticing peace in my life and in my home. Now, I live in peace. I've noticed lately that I've allowed others to have my peace and I've been living unsettled. I'm doing what I'm telling you to do. I'm taking the control back, I'm believing for and saying what I want. When you do this, you will see changes in your life. You will see the desires of your heart coming to reality in your life. Try it! You just might see, life doesn't have to be this hard.
