I honestly can’t believe my last blog post was January 1, 2017. This has been a tough year, to say the least. I lost my job in March, which opened the door for me to continue my fitness journey by completing my schooling and becoming a Certified Personal Trainer. I became a Partner Trainer with Camp Gladiator and launched my locations on June 26th. It has been an awesome yet bumpy ride. I’ve met so many great people. I’ve continued walking/running 5Ks as often as possible. This morning I logged my 38th race since May of 2016, when my passion began. I was speaking with a friend, before this morning’s race, who encouraged me to Blog. Then along the race route, a lady started chatting with me. If you race, you know this isn’t normal . . . She too encouraged me to blog my story. So here I am, 11 months from my last entry, excited to share my life with others. Before I sat down at the keyboard, I called Lindsay (my best friend) to get her thoughts. I’m very real and with me, what you see is what you get. I don’t sugar coat well. With that said, I do care what people think about me, however I know there will be some that will judge me as I write. So here I am preparing for the next phase of my life, even a little excited to share my experiences and hopefully impact lives along the way.
I encourage you to comment and share your experiences too.
